Contractor Assignment Issues

During NYSERDA’s November 7th Contractor Webinar, it was brought to NYSERDA’s attention that contractors were experiencing issues regarding contractor assignments in NYHEP.  Thank you to those that have provided some specific examples. When submitting issues, please remember to include details like Application Number, Enrollment Number, Customer Name/Address/Zip, and Date of submission. 

Initial findings indicate a system bug could be the reason for some misassignments. Additionally, contractors not waiting until the customer’s application had been submitted and approved was found in some other cases as a reason an enrollment was not assigned yet.

To date we have received a small amount of instances and examples of issues and so we are asking for contractors to submit issues as they arise so that solutions can be found as quickly as possible. NYSERDA is examining the issues that are submitted and will be making corrections where possible, fixing issues that involve a system bug, and providing additional training to TRC as needed.
