NY Home Energy Portal
NYSERDA is excited to implement a new platform called the NY Home Energy Portal. This online platform has replaced the EmPCalc and the contractor portal (Uplight) used by the EmPower+ New York, Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR and Residential Energy Assessment Programs. NY HEP was launched in July 2023.
Contractors, CLEAResult and NYSERDA use the NY HEP platform for many tasks, including contractor assignments, project acceptance, work scope submissions, screenings, approvals, reviews, final project submissions, funding allocations, invoice reporting and real-time program and measure updates.
Key Dates
- Completed training in May/June 2023.
- NY HEP launched on July 10, 2023.
- July 2023 – Migrated from the current Uplight/Energy Savvy system to new program workflow. EmPower+ and Residential Energy Assessment is in the new project workflow.
- July-Fall 2023 – Improvements to the Residential Energy Assessment and Empower+ workflows.
- Late 2023 – Comfort Home was added to the new portal. The Standardized Simulation modeling from Comfort Home is available for EmPower+ and Residential Energy Assessment.
- 2024 – Customer portal will be added to NY HEP.
