We will draw our attention to - Instead of asking, “How can I motivate my people?” we should be asking, “How can I create the conditions within which people will motivate themselves?” The question we need to ask is, “Is a behavior autonomous or controlled?” To be autonomous means to act in accord with one’s self – it means feeling free and volitional in one’s action.
