NYS Manufactured Housing Mechanics Certification - Online
This online course covers two, 3-hour sessions. Successful course completion means the candidate must attend BOTH sessions in order to be awarded CEU’s and a certificate of completion. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER TWICE. You will be sent a webinar invite for both sessions. Each session is from 9:00am until noon.
This training is for:
Weatherization crew chiefs/auditors, weatherization agency sub-contractors, private contractors
This training will prepare those attending to take the New York State Manufactured Housing Mechanic certification written test. If your business or agency conducts structural repairs on mobile homes or manufactured housing to stay in compliance with NY State Code Enforcement requirements, you will need at least one staff member with this certification. Structural repairs include replacement of door/window framing, replacement of subfloor plywood, or replacement of interior wall and ceiling panels. This staff member must be on-site during these repairs. This individual certification is valid for two years.
May 3 & 5, 2021 / 9:00am - noon (must participate in both days for course completion). Please note that we try to schedule this for 2 consecutive dates but in this case you will have a "day off" in between.
