Notice of Stakeholder Meeting - New York State Public Service Commission

Please take notice that that a stakeholder meeting will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET to discuss the NYS Public Service Commission’s policy for energy affordability for low-income utility customers as adopted in its May 20, 2016 and February 17, 2017 orders (Case 14-M-0565).

The meeting will take place at the Department of Public Service’s Albany Office, 19th Floor Boardroom, Three Empire State Plaza. Access to the building is from the Concourse level. All attendees should be prepared to show a valid photo identification upon arrival.

The stakeholder meeting will provide interested parties with the opportunity to offer input regarding the reexamination of components of the statewide Energy Affordability Policy with respect to utility energy affordability programs, including the proposal of modifications thereto. These discussions are expected to include, but not be limited to, options for leveraging bill discount programs for energy efficiency.

Prior to the stakeholders meeting, Staff will file an agenda and information for remote participation in the Department of Public Service’s Document and Matter Management system under Case 14-M-0565.
