Frequently Asked Questions & Answers
As of: August 31, 2017
Q: Which projects will be handled in CRIS and through email? Which projects are in the NY HP Portal?
A: For all EmPower projects with an approved workscope or an appliance ordered as of August 11, 2017, the projects will continue to be managed in CRIS. For these projects, you will submit invoices and completion documents to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All remaining projects managed in CRIS must be completed by September 20, 2017. If this deadline is passed, the project will need to be re-entered into the NY HP Portal.
New project referrals or those assigned in CRIS and projects awaiting workscope submission as of August 11 will be transferred into the NY HP Portal. Previously accepted projects will need to be reaccepted in the NY HP Portal by the contractor. For all projects that are assigned and accepted through the NY HP Portal, workscopes, invoices, and completion documents must also be submitted using the new process in the NY HP Portal.
Q: An audit in process was cancelled in CRIS but I do not see in the NY HP Portal. What do I do?
A: This means a project has been moved to the NY HP Portal and will soon be assigned to your company. Check back later, or if you need to process the project right away, send a request for prioritization to email@example.com.
Q: How do I submit applications?
A: Submit applications to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Can I prioritize a customer during the transition?
A: E-mail the names of the customers you need prioritized to email@example.com.
