NYSERDA HPwES & EmPower NY – M&I/MIG and QACSS Training | February 27, 2015

This session introduces the Material and Installation Guide (M&I or MIG) to contractors participating in NYSERDA’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR and EmPower NY programs. The first portion of the presentation, led by NYSERDA’s Andrew VanGorder (EmPower NY Quality Assurance Manager), focused on the soon-to-be released Quality Assurance Contractor Scoring System (QACSS). The new QACSS system applies to projects in both the HPwES and EmPower NY programs and will be launched in March 2015.

Led by Mark Hutchins, Quality Assurance Manager at Conservation Services Group (CSG), the second portion of the training provides an overview of the MIG and how to reference the PDF when installing energy efficiency measures.

Links to relevant files, including the MIG and sample quality assurance documents, are available for download below.
